Dancemyth is the moniker of Michigan producer Daniel Smith. Presenting sets of all original music spanning between dubstep, glitch hop, and even downtempo, Dancemyth strives to bring a unique performance that takes you through a journey of his productions — all alongside live guitar improvisation.
He's been making a name for himself as an independent artist in the scene since 2013, holding down hometown spots like Tangent Gallery, Magic Stick, and Elektricity, and sharing bills with Toadface, Of the Trees, Esseks, Thriftworks, Russ Liquid, Lucii, Buku, Digital Ethos, Kursa, Seppa, ATTYA, and many more.
Recent work culminates in the 2026 album Ad Homonym — twenty tracks moving through three acts of bass weight, broken beat, and quieter recovery interludes.
